Mariner "shivering" after grooming.
It appears that Mariner gets stressed everytime he gets groomed. This is causing him to have "shivers". As Mariner does have seizures these are probably petite seizures. He has not had seizure activity in almost 18 months, since we changed his medication.
We are having blood work done on Wednesday to check his levels and see if there is anything else going on.

We have to wait until Friday to get blood test results. Mariner is going on a diet. He weighs in at 98 pounds. Vet wants him to lose 20 pounds - over the next 12 months.

Bloodwork results were normal except - high white cell count, no visible sign of infection - vet pu him on arizthromycin
blood sugar on low side - just watching
Hopefully with weight loss and slight upping of the potassium bromide things should be ok
