That's so sweet! Schultz must be related to Jackdoodle, he is the baby bunny whisperer of our neighborhood, lol.
Daisy just stands a distance away and watches the bunnies, not necessarily babies...when they make a move she high tails it out a there, just in case they come her way. Chicken Doodle!
Something came up on our deck in the middle of the night Saturday, Daisy was barking, very unusual but I settled her down, the next morning when I went to fill the bird feeders I discovered the bag torn to shreds, my first thought was raccoon but later I opened the door and a chipmunk scurried away. Daisy is now afraid to go on the deck, she will go, but very cautiously!
Oh how I wish I could say the same thing here. We have bunnies that build nests in our yard and Sophie wants them so Bad. That is how she got hurt back in February was she went after a bunny in the yard one night when Mike took her out to potty. She bolted and unfortunately was on the Flexi-Leash. She hit the end of the leash before Mike realized she even took off. It really jolted her and pulled the muscles in her back. She still has days where she seems like they aren't quite heeled. She just goes crazy when she sees them.
That's so sweet. Halas is a bunny chaser, so we don't have any bunny stories that end well.
Awwww.. how sweet :)
Wow! That's adorable. Duncan chases bunnies and thank god has never caught one. I don't think he'd be the nuzzling type... Way to go Shultz!
Awwwww....that is just so sweet.
Schulz, You are a lot nicer to the outdoor creatures than Fudge and Vern. Way to go!!!
Awe. that is adorable. This is what I imagine Sophie and Winston doing when they meet a bunny. I don't really want to test out the theory though, as Winston is a little too eager and any 'mishaps' will shatter my image of my gentle loving doodle.
