He started off very wavy as a little pup, then at about 8 weeks went straight and fluffy but with a wavy head and curly ears, now he has soft rabbit like wavy fur (which is still short) and a wiry curly stripe down his back!

He looks like my Samantha did. She is an F1.  If you go to my page, view my photos, go to page 38, page 37 and 38 show her first weeks home pictures. They look pretty much the same.

I don't know what type of coat he has, but I do know that he is soooooooo cute!

She looks gorgeous and I know it's very hard to tell at this age but I look forward to seeing her as she grows up.

He is just adorable and I would love to see pictures as he gets bigger to follow just what kind of coat he ends up with. Enjoy him.

I said she when I meant he : (

He is so cute...he may get curlier as his adult coat comes in since  he is wavy now.

He is very cute!! But this is a puppy coat and they can change a lot before the adult coat comes in--I think he will have a wavy coarse coat in the long run that has a great shaggy look.

He may end up looking like this! Isn't he a cutie?

OMD, He is such a cutie pie!!!

I think the best way to find out what coat type he will have is just to wait it out ;)

The only input I have is that the weird stripe thing is totally  normal as far as I can tell.  Luna had that for quite a while when she was a pup - that's where her "new" coat always started during her coat changes.  She's an f1 mini goldendoodle, but I imagine it's just the way dogs grow in their coats.

Here you can see some stripyness at around 18 weeks.  At this point most of her coat was apricot-coloured and straight and she had a wavy "eel stripe" of a dark red down her back/tail.
