....All this describes what our pets give us......

Thank you for loving Hurley and always checking on him. You all understand the love that I share with Hurley because you all have the same bond with your pets as well. I never imagined that Hurley would have these problems, but he did. It has been emotionally exhausting..caring for his rupturing cysts, medicines to help him, needles in his cysts, surgeries and now this "problem bump".. Hurley has been on antibiotics since November. I am praying for the day he no longer needs them and is healed completely.
His incision site has healed very good, except for the "stubborn bump" that has come up. In 1 weeks time it has filled popped and filled again. It popped yesterday for the second time. Today it looks better.I am praying it scabs up and goes away and this will be another distant nightmare.

Thank you all for praying for Hurley, putting him under your wing, loving him like he is your own and donating to help in his medical bills. I have made some wonderful friends throughout all of this...Thank you for getting us through the good times and the hard ones too....

Thank you Dr. Judy.....you are truely amazing and I will always be a huge supporter of The Doodle Messenger. You are helping doodles, you are saving them. We love you Dr. Judy and everyone who gives their time and love to keep The Doodle Messenger going and getting their story out all over...

To Doodle Kisses...I love you guys...you pointed me right to Dr. Judy....you put me and Hurley into the path of getting healed. I will always be a love of DK.

Slowly but surely we are getting through this. If this little "hiccup" goes away we are an all go!!!

Thank you to Dr. Genovese for working on the 4th of July to see his patients and check on Hurley. His staff are so amazing to their patients...all the animals love them so much.

Love to you all,

Regina and Hurley

And a big Thank you to you, Regina for not giving up on Hurley. He is lucky to have you as his human Mom. It's just great to see his progress, even with the little bumps. Soon this will be a distant past and he will be enjoying his silly doodle life like he is supposed to. And mainly thanks to you, Regina.

Sending positive thoughts for Hurley's little bump not to fill again!

Is July 4th when Hurley goes for a recheck? Hope all goes well.

Yes...at 9 am he will be in to see Dr. Genovese on the 4th..his staff wont be here but he wil they said. He went to his surgeon today. Dr. Marti said he couldn't put a needle in the bump because it popped and dranied yesterday. He said if it starts to fill up again to go right in the ER vet and have them call him or Dr. G. They will come in and take a sample from this bump. See if it is what he had before then take the right steps to have it removed. I am staying postive...I have to stay postive. He has been doing very well. Healing great just this little bump wanting to keep coming up....uggggggggghhhhh....!!

I am sorry to hear this Regina but it sounds like your great vets will take care of it. You are almost done with all this!

Hoping that you get some good news tomorrow.  Thanks for keeping us updated on Hurley.

wow--what an ordeal--only LOVE could get you all thru this--he will be fine soon--you will see!!

Thanks for sharing about Hurley.  Sorry to hear about the bump but it sounds like he is in the best of hands.  Praying peace for you and your family.

It sounds like Hurley has excellent and very caring vets. I hope this bump goes away and stays away!

Grrrrr... This must be incredibly frustrating and sad.  You have a good team on your side though.  This, too, will be resolved.

I wish I could wave a magic wand a make it all done with.  Just keep on keeping on.  I am sure he will be well.  Love alone can do amazing things.  Mixed with your patience and tenacity and courage, Hurley will send be done with this.

Wishing Hurley and you all the best. It sounds like you have an amazing Vet.

Hurley is just so lucky to have you.  Every time I read a story about someone giving up their dog for a stupid reason, I think about you and remember that there are still some really good people out there that truly care about their pets.
