Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
Hi everyone. I am new to this website. I recently adopted a lab/poodle mix at the humane society last week (8 weeks old and weighs 6lbs). I had no idea how popular they were and I don't know much about them. I've been searching websites to find out information. Does anyone know by looking at him if he's going to be a mini, medium or large and what kind of coat? I know it's hard to tell and it can all change later but I know some of you guys know more about them then I would. His legs are really short but a long body....weird but cute! His coat is really soft and a slightly wavy. It really doesn't matter what size he will be, but I'm just curious. I love him just the way he is no matter what.

He is such a cutie pie! Look at those long eye lashes.
Adorable pup. I think he'll be a mini or medium.
he already has lots of waves so I would definatel say he will have the typical doodley look, super cute!!!
If he is just 6 lbs. at 8 weeks, I would say you have a mini. But those short legs make it seem that he may have some other breed besides lab and poodle. Doesn't really matter. You will love him no matter what he turns out to be, or how big he ends up. He is a very cute pup.
He is just precious. We have an adult rescue that might have the same build. I have no idea how big he was as a pup, but I'll bet he looked just like your little guy. Clancy has a very strong, stocky body with short legs. As an adult he is only 19" tall but weighs over 60 pounds.
OMD he is super cute! My Remington was 10 lbs at 8 weeks and he is now an 80 lb doodle!
Well he's too cute for words. I would guess smaller, but you just never know! My Peri is a mini and she weighed about 7ish pounds I think when we brought her home at 9 weeks. Check out my page for pics and weight stats on her.
