I've MISSED You DOODLE KISSES AND DK FRIENDS!

I feel like that boy in Willy Wonka (the original) who gets swallowed up inside the television screen!  I have been lurking in the background - quickly jumping on and off DK and in and out of forum postings.  I have missed you all SO much!  

 I thought once school had ended on the 22nd that I would be able to just 'pick up' where I left off, but it has been harder than I thought.    I see some of you have added another doodle to your families, some are expecting babies, some of you have moved, many of our doodles have achieved so much...the list of 'changes' just goes on and on!   And... the summer is zooming by so quickly already! And my 'free' time is shortening so quickly!

All is well with us.  Still working on the house.  As many of you know I entered a new decade in my life, and to make me feel better in celebration, we are planning to go on another 'dream vacation'.  We will be traveling to Alaska on a cruise tour next week.  We will do a stop in Vancouver for the night (and pay homage to Tori's  - and many of my DK friends' home country) and then embark on our cruise.  So just as I jump back on DK, I must float back out.

But I just wanted to "officially" say hello to everyone, and say "there's no place like home - on DK"

Great to hear from you Shelly.  I know what you mean...I sort of jump in and out as well these days.  We did a cruise 8 years ago to Alaska and it was wonderful.  There were lots of people on the ship with "guide" dogs and quite a few of them were Poodles.  That got us thinking as we had never really given any thought to a Standard Poodle since all we see are the little yappers.  That thinking took us in the direction of Doodles!!!  And the rest is history!  lol  Have a great time.
