Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
Happy to report that things are much better now. Just like Laurie told me, I've probably gotten used to the "new normal". Auggie is one happy boy that loves to follow his big brother everywhere and bite his ears, neck, and tail. Poor Monty seems to enjoy it and lets the little rascal get away with almost everything. We have not had any more accidents in the house for few days (knock on wood), but we are still not trusting Auggie. Just watching him closely. He learned the sit and down commands, he is laying down when his food is being prepared. Loves the backyard and running through all the bushes where his big brother can't fit. Two more weeks until his second round of shots and then we will start a puppy socialization class so that he learns to play with puppies his age. I think Auggie is a keeper. :-)

Love the doodle puppy "fuzz" coming on. It is good to hear that Auggie is doing a better job of helping you adjust to the new normal.
Wow, he sure is growing! Glad to hear that things are getting better. It sounds a little like getting into the routine of a new diet. The first few weeks one is miserable and grumpy and thinks it stinks, but by about the 3rd week (if one makes it that long) they start to settle into a routine and it seems so easy. Hope all continues to go well. I have really enjoyed watching the videos of the 2 of them together. Monty really does seem like a great big brother.
Haha, great analogy. My problem is that I hate diets and only last about 3 days on them.
Yes Auggie for sure is a keeper! I can't wait to meet him and hug him!
Aw, look how big he's getting, and look at those paws!
:)
You are too kind, Doris.
Jarka, Auggie is so darn cute. He reminds me of Jane's Stuart! I am so glad you are feeling better. I just talked about getting a third one today. If you smack me, I'll smack you :) LOL
It only counts if you get a puppy, Laurie. I'll hold you to that smack. :-)
LOL....I think two is my limit :)
"A keeper" indeed!! Glad things are getting better for you. All too soon, these puppy days will seem like a distant past!! They grow too fast!
