Thanks Ricki.  She is only 3 weeks old, and I am having second thoughts about a second doodle at any given minute whether it is the right thing for Charlie a he is such a little old soul and just loves people (not dogs so much, unless they are smaller than he is).  I am hoping and praying if we do get another one, it will be similar in nature to him.

Linda, hopefully your breeder can help you with the choice of puppy. Although I really wanted the puppy that was Tara, it had to be okay with the breeder. She had to determine if Tara was a match for our household once she reached a certain age.I think it was 6 weeks.  TG Tara was a match and she has been just perfect.

That's perfect, Linda!  My foster Shiner got a new name with her forever family.  They have a Jack and now have a Jill!  I love Charlie Brown and Lucy!

Thanks Doris.  I love Jack & Jill too!.

Doris, congratulations.  That's wonderful news that you found Shiner/ Jill her forever family.  Nice :)

Oh yeah, forgot the one nickname I do use for Bella when she's been grazing for poopy in the yard.....Potty mouth.

Quincy has several nicknames including the standard Doodlebug, Bug, Bug-a-Boo, Boo, Goofball and Doofus. He gets called Boo and Boo-Boo so often that many think that is his name. :>) He also gets called Momma's Baby, Mom's Precious and Dad's Boy. Although it's not a nickname he often get's called BFWD a lot especially by little kids. It usually goes like this, "Hey Mom, look at that Big Fluffy White Dog". ">) Oops, I almost forgot, he also gets called Jude quite often, mostly during potty times. Jude is my SIL who is know for her nosiness inquisitive nature.

Loving this discussion! Some very creative nicknames - and honesty!  (You don't want me to list some of the "honest" things I call these guys some days!) Nicknames come and go, but the following are pretty consistent ...

Collectively: Out Out D@mn Spot, Children of a Lesser Dog, Guys, Doods, Yo!, Lack'n'Decker, Hey Am I Talkin' Here, Mah Boyz, Bug Boyz (or just Bugz), and Huggy Dudes
