Darwin is starting to look like a Doodle!

I don't think he will doodle out like most I see...but I do think he will have a lovely straight coat.  He still doesn't seem to shed much, but he does a tiny bit.  I love all the fur coming in on his head/face, looking forward to seeing how he will mature!  He's 5 months old now!  He still has a little bit of his mohawk I gave him awhile back but we're trying to get it all the same length now.

He's turning into a very well mannered boy.  He will occasionally bark in his crate when he would rather play.  He will sit and shake on command and my husband has been making him sit/wait and then shake before getting fed and he does it automatically now.  I had a friend doggy-sit him while I was out of town for a marathon event and she called me saying she discovered he does the cutest thing when he did that for her..she thought it was random, we forgot to mention that we taught it to him.  Everyone who meets him thinks he's just a wonderful dog, and we agree!

He is just darling. He couldn't do any better than to look like Jackdoodle.  Non-shedding or light shedding would be preferred though. :-}

What handsome guy!  Looks like he has the personality to match.  He looks like our resident "office" doodle, Oscar.  Oscar belongs to an architect on the 2nd floor of our building but he visits us whenever my doodle, Finnegan, is not there.  We love Oscar.  The town loves Oscar. So looking at JD and Oscar, I think Darwin's a winner!

He has such a beautiful coat and coloring! He is a very handsome boy. So glad to hear he is doing well! Duncan has a striaghter coat as well, and I love the way the hair grows on their faces :).
