We started planning in July of 2011 and the Doodle Cruise was but a dream.  All the days of planning and waiting and finally it was here.  The chance to meet in person some of my DK IDOLS!  From the 1st moment it was truely like we were all old friends - because we really were old friends.  This past week was one I will never forget.  There were tons of laughs, some tears, dancing, way too much eating and drinking.  Doodle talk of course!!!  I am way to tired (and want to spend time with Rooney, Stuart and DH) to go into details - those will all come as people get home but I'll share a few photos with you all.  Oh and of course WE CAN'T TELL EVERYTHING - some things will have to stay on the ship.

Here is Dori and I at Sail Away - the weather is Miami was getting cloudy - great time to leave.

I'm glad that everyone had such a great time and I have to admit I'm a little jealous as well.

Jane, thanks for posting these great photos!  It's so cool that you all got to meet and that you loved each other as much in person as online.  I'm taking your advice and saving my spare change for the next cruise or resort.  Anyone know where I can get a doodle shaped piggybank? :)

Such great stories and photos!!  Glad you're all back and had such a wonderful time.  I'm sure we'll hear lots more--looking forward to that!

Very nice photos. Glad you all are home... I think. Where is Adina. Hope she and Clark are not delayed. I bet they missed those babies.

Anyway, you all look lovely and looking forward to more... GOSSIP  :)  Gossip Please

Someone send me a private email and tell me the REAL TRUTH

Me toooooo!!!!!

And of course I want to know the nitty gritty.

Okay, Joanne - here's a tidbit of REAL TRUTH - Clark wears a Speedo when he snorkels!!!

LOL, Clark said "tongues will wag" when this gets out.

This is the TRUTH - Clark was wearing a Speedo!!!!  Sadly - any proof of said Speedo does not exist on my camera.

On no!!! I hope some will be unearthed.

Ladies, ladies... Yes I did wear a Speedo while snorkeling.  But this was not a decision I made about fashion.  I didn't wear it to get a more complete tan.  (As those that saw me know, it's pretty obvious I do nothing to get a better tan.  I am Clark of the Scandinavian pale people.  Sunblock is my friend.)  So this was not about looks.  Far from it.  This was all about wearing the most functional swimwear.  And if you think that Speedos are not functional... then why are all the Olympians wearing them???  I'm pretty sure I slipped through the water a little bit easier than those other "fashionable" men with their culotte length shorts.  Form follows function... that's what I always say.
