Meet Beau Doodle!

Just a quick announcement to tell my DK friends that Charlie Brown's little brother arrived four days ago!  He is 10 weeks old and his daddy Puppy Love's Valentine is also Charlie's dad, but they have different mothers.  Charlie is adjusting well to the new arrival, but I am feeling a little overwhelmed as I have never had two dogs at one time.  So overwhelmed, that I did not notice I became a Hopeless Doodle Addict sometime between last thurs and today!  Woo Hoo!

wow --what a gorgeous pup!! How big will he be? I am looking forward to pics with his brother--they will look great together--hang in there, it really does get much easier....

Ginny~ Charlie Brown is a medium ALD (1 yr 10 mos today) and he is chocolate like his mom.  He stays right at 38 or 39 lbs.  I love the medium size.  Beau Doodle is also a medium ALD (same dad as Charlie, but his mom is a parti.).  Their father Puppy Loves Valentine (Cosmo) is also a parti.  You are right, every day is better. thanks.

Linda, Congratulations on your new puppy! Beau is adorable! We are expecting are 2nd doodle (Bailey) in 8 days. It's my daughters dog but she lives with me. We haven't had two dogs in 20 years, so this will be interesting.

Thanks Kimberly.  I am looking forward to seeing photos of Bailey.  Homecoming is just around the corner!  Initially, it was a challenge, but now it seems every days is getting easier and we are all adjusting well.

Thanks Andrea.  He is dark chocolate and creamy white.  I wonder though if that chocolate won't lighten up like his daddy's.  His character is starting to show through now that he is settling in.  He is so precious.

What a fitting name!  Congratulations on Beau's arrival.  He's a very adorable fellow!  How does Charlie Brown feel about Beau's arrival?  After a somewhat disinterested beginning, Wally has warmed up to his little sister.  If he could talk, I think he'd proclaim that he's happy she's here -- well, most of the time!

Thanks Laurie.  Your Wally is absolutely one of the handsomest on DK.  I love his coat!  Charlie was quite jealous of Beau initially.  Really not his fault that we have spoiled him rotten -LOL. He thinks everything is his, including DH and me.  Beau has the same dad as Charlie, but a different mother.  He is very confident and loves to jump on Charlie and grab his tail and ears; and plays like one of the big boys!  Charlie on the other hand has not been interested in playing with other dogs until now.  He will play tug-of-war with Beau.  He has learned to show Beau his boundaries, so this is probably good for him and for Beau.  Does Charlotte try to get Wally to play, or she more laid back?  She certainly is beautiful!  They have wonderful coats.
