The German Wirehaired Pointed was one of the first breeds I thought was gorgeous when I was starting to consider the idea of a dog.

Really good dog--just amazing! It could be a pointer-doodle :) It does look like some sort of doodle though but isn't there a breed that kind of looks like that? Oh yeah, I see now that Karen mentioned it.

Ginny, I think you are correct on the breed.  My first thought when I saw the video was Wirehaired Point Griffon.
