I have threaded a hose from the laundry room sink - out the basement window to the back yard for warm water.  If you have the old style spout in your laundry room sink, it is threaded.

I would have to use a whole box of wipes his feet are huge and dirty.

You are not alone my friend.... my two doodles love to get dirty and love to run around like two nuts in the back yard.  When they come inside their paws are dirty, muddy and gross.  I fill a bucked with warm water, put a old towel down on the floor and proceed to wash 2 sets of paws - LOL.  The doodles don't like it much but they know I mean business !!!!

Ya but their worth it.LOL

The temp housing I was in last month was a complete swamp so I had to wipe paws every single time we came back in.  I kept towels all over the floor by the front door (but I tend to be neater when I am actually in my own house but since this was just a temp apartment, I didn't care).  Cubbie actually got used to the process and would automatically sit when we got in the door and raise his paw and then the other front paw and then stand so I could get the back ones dry.

If you don't feel like drying paws when Midas comes pack inside, you could just let your carpets and furniture take care of it for you  ;)  lol

Before a run, I set a bowl of water ready for when we get back.

i always have to.  Oliver likes to play in the dirt A LOT!!!

Yes!! So funny that you posted this today, as I went out this week and bought one of those tubs that you use to wash dishes in, and put it by the back door. I am teaching Molly to clean her paws in it before she comes in because her paws are such a mess. She just walks " through it" and all four paws get a dunking. Amazing how much dirt comes off!

I use a towel when we are in the RV.  At home we have a doggy door and I just live with it for the convenience.

Depending on how 'bad' it is.... I either wipe the paws down with a towel (located by the door during the soggy season) or I rely on the rug just inside the dog door and then also the runway towels that are laid out on the carpet at the tile/carpet threshold. Hope that makes sense.

I find that a microfiber towel works really well for wet and muddy feet because it can absorb a lot of moisture.

I use a Paw Plunger. It works for mud, ice or snow.
