Hoping and praying that none of my fellow Doodle Lovers are effected by this, but wanting to send my thoughts and prayers to those that are and to let you know your Canadian friends are feeling for you. How heartbreaking that society (and lost individuals) can be so cruel. Children under 10 years old don't deserve this fate for any reason.. God Bless!!

My heart, prayers and condolences go out to the families, school employees, and community during this time of sadness and confusion.  I cannot even imagine those families affected by this senseless act and my thoughts and love are with them at this time.

Another tragic shooting, I am bewildered, what on earth would make someone shoot to kill children. There is a lot of speculation that it started in the Kindergarten room by a parent.

So sad. I think that gun control time has long ago come but still not a reality. I remember the Michael Moore movie from how many years ago? Just last night I saw an interesting piece about a musician shot in the head during that movie massacre and the progress she has made.

F. I saw that too, she lost her mother to cancer during that battle. She is a perfect example of HOPE!

I just cannot imagine.......  Thinking of those who have lost their loved ones.  It is so hard to understand why.

News channels are saying the shooter killed his father at home, then went to the school to kill his mother, who was a kindergarten teacher.

His mother worked in the office. That's most likely how he got into the school.

His name is Ryan Lanza, and he was 24 years old. His younger brother is somehow involved, too. One news channel said that his girlfriend and another person are missing, so the body count may go even higher.

The Mom actually was a Kindergarten teacher at that school according to all our local news reports.

Wow, the news stations I've been listening to have a lot of wrong info! Right now, Wolf Blitzer is saying she wasn't even at the school that she was found murdered in their home.
