I'm going to add a final comment here to clarify. I stand by my posts and opinions about the lion cut. I think it's completely fine and there is nothing wrong with it, end of story. However, I don't want anyone to feel hurt or offended by my opinions which are just that- opinions. To Sandy and Sue, I hope you both know that I respect you and your opinions and while I do enjoy having a good debate, I in no way wanted to hurt or offend you. I feel that the Chels is out of line in her character attacks and I wanted to let you both know that I completely disagree with those responses. You are both awesome ladies!

thanks christine..and of course now i look like the attacker and the mean one..but yes if someone talks bad about me or my dog i feel attacked and attack back.. this was never a post to make anyone like or dislike..i posted saying i was upset because his lashes were cut..people asked for pics and i posted..and then im the bad guy... yes i talked about sue's comment and i do wonder what kind of person she is if she tries to make someone feel guilty or bad over a haircut.. never said she WAS a bad person..just wondering.. but thank u so much for the comment <3

What ever happened to if you don't have something nice to say, don't say it. I don't like the lion cut but I don't think I would have responded if I hadn't noticed all the brouhaha. I generally ignore posts about things like first groomings, lashes too short, etc.. Lashes too short? Life is too short for all of this sniping back and forth about, excuse me, nonsense. At times like this I wonder why I spend too much time on DK. But then I ask for help and many people respond. At other times we have beautiful images to contemplate. We laugh and cry. Cut out the personal attacks, ignore what you don't like that isn't important and get on with what is important.

Exactly!!  I'm here to maybe learn a little something that would improve my dog's wellbeing (and maybe mine).  I'm here for a smile at someone's blog or a cute picture of someone's doodle.  I can't see getting personal over a hair cut, one way or the other.
