Sophie started her new Chemo Rescue drug on Monday.  Dr. Jenny said if it was going to help that we should see some significant results within a couple of days.  Starting on Wednesday morning she was taking some puppy treats as early at 6am.  That in and of itself was pretty significant. By Thursday morning her external lymph nodes were significantly reduced in size.  We have no way to know about the internal ones but she is eating which leads us to believe the swelling in them has gone down some as well.  She is still only eating about 6 different types of treats, turning her nose up at everything else, but we'll take it.  She has a lot more energy and has gotten to go for a little walk the last two days.  She no longer wants to just lay outside in the cold all the time and has a tiny little pep in her step.  By no means does it mean she is out of the woods or even in remission, but it is very refreshing to just see her feeling a little bit better than these past few weeks.

I am so happy to hear you have a glimmer of hope for your sweet Sophie.  Hope this drug continues to work.

I am so glad to hear this news. I hope the drug continues to help Sophie. How wonderful to wake up and hear some good news about Sophie.

This is the best news EVER!  I'm doing a happy dance with my boys right now.  We all need to keep praying....I know I will.

Ah...nothing touches my mother's heart more then hearing about Sophie taking a little bit more interest in food.  I know it must comfort you to see that.  I hope and pray Sophie continues to eat and that she continues to show positive signs.

So glad to hear this. Sophie is in our Doodle prayers every night. Praying she continues to improve.

That's great!!  Hopefully, she'll continue to respond positively to this new drug!!  Continuing to send lots of positive vibes your way!!!

What a great way to start my day, to hear that Sophie is doing better! I so hope this new drug will help get her into remission! Keep feeling better and better, Sophie, we love you!

That's really great for Sophie =)

What good news, I hope she continues to feel better. :-)

I am hoping as time passes and the drug gets into Sophie's system more, that you will just keep seeing positive results.

The goal is remission, and we are all hoping that for Sophie !

Once again, doodle prayers are answered. Even short windows of feeling well and eating are enough to keep you optomistic. So good to hear this drug is working. Praying for a long, strong remission!

Great news.  I hope she continues to feel better and goes into full remission!
