Meet our new family member!

[Lori, Daphne, Lucy & Pippa]

Daphne's mother has been retired from the breeding world and we were lucky enough to bring her home! Earlier this month we drove from Florida (where the temp was 85) to Michigan (23 degrees) to get her. I had been talking back and forth with the breeder for a while and she agreed to let her come and live with us. Her name has been Brice however that is also my nephew's name who lives nearby. We have decided to call her Lucy. I'm hoping that it won't be too traumatic to change her name at this stage. She will be 4 years old on March 1st.

Thanks Laurie! We are trying to get used to the Double Doodle thing. I have discovered thats its a lot harder to walk two than it is one! LOL!

How wonderful for you and for your pooches! I have my breeding dog's son here and they are sometimes TOO much alike--like when they both bark at the neighbors or both want my attention--but it is so great having them together--

Lucy is adorable--she looks like a small bearded collie!
