Daisy's nose changed colour when she was a year old. That's when started to Matt too. Why does it happen? Is it just a genetic thing???

I think it is genetic--my Mattie had a black nose until the age of 1 or so and now it is really rose. Some black noses lighten up in winter but then go back to black.

Then and now

Wow she's such a pretty colour :)
How much does she weigh??

Gavin's nose started out black and lightened over the first winter.  In the summer it gets a bit darker again, but has never gone all the way back to black.  Before:

  Gavin's toy

After:

Gavin on the way to the cottage 3

Cute either way IMO :)

Daisys is the same as Gavin (actually at quick glance they look like twins when she's hairy)

Snow Nose!

Both of My Goldendoodles noses lighten up over the winter and then get really Black again. I agree that whether Black or Brown Doodles have the "BEST" Noses!!!!
Seriously it's called snow nose??

Yep!  Google it.  They akin it to having a suntan.  The nose darkens in sun exposure.

Luna's nose started changing when she was about 1 - it's a lot lighter than it was.  On top of that she has "snow nose" so it gets even lighter in the Winter.

Puppy (black)

Summer adult (brown with black on the outside)

Winter adult (rose-brown with dark brown outside)

She's a golden? Or a doodle?
She has a gorgeous coat she's so shiny

She's an F1 mini goldendoodle.  She looks like a Golden until you see her next to one - she's about half the size of a pure Golden ;)

at what age can you determine if the nose will stay black or if it will change? Midas has a black nose..i noticed it got slightly lighter this winter..but is still black for sure.. he is 11 months.. just curious xoxo
