Trav is an urban dog, so doesn't encounter many dead things that might trigger his 'roll in it' instinct.  The few dead birds, rodents or fish we've found haven't appealed to him.  He'll sniff the corpse, then seem to shrug and move on.

Tonight he found something that triggered the instinct.  I gave him a Cod Liver Oil softgel, and after picking it up, dropping it, nosing it around for a while, he started to lie down and roll on it!  Yikes!  This is human grade stuff!  LOL

What has your doodle found worthy of rolling on or in?

Ewwwwww.....glad there are no bunny M&M's around here....

We got the same looking M&M's around here- but from deer. They've generously left it everywhere!!!

How lucky are you!!  Does your pup roll in the deer M&M's or (gasp) eat them?

When I'm not looking he eats them right up!!!  LOL  Gross!  Then he wants to give me kisses... and I'm not big on that. I had a little lovebird and a guinea pig before and my bird thought my guinea pigs poop were treats just for her... that also grossed me out :)

Bunny and deer M&M's....and guinea pig poop...oh, yeah!  Kisses!  :)

We have the same... deer and rabbit M&M's and to top it off ... wild turkey white cheese curls.

Our dogs roll in them and eat them.

"Turkey White Cheese Curles"...LOL!!

I haven't heard that one before.  I'll file it away with rabbit M&M's and buttons :))

Mike, that was way too vivid of a picture!  lol  Wild turkey white cheese curls....oh, horrors...:)

Same here Pat!  LOL

I once heard from a trainer that, disgusting as it is, rabbit "buttons" are actually good for dogs.  I don't know how true this is, but it is definitely NOT going to be on my doodle's menu.

Rabbits are some of the worst animals for transmitting not only fleas and lice but tape worms. I wish I could rid my area of rabbits, but being in the country means getting rid of one means room for 3 more.

Ick!   I had a baby jackrabbit when I was a kid in Montana.  There was a rattlesnake chasing it and it hopped into the road we were traveling.  Naturally, I never thought about what other 'pets' might be coming along with it.  :)
