Amazing What 6 Weeks Will Do!

I think my first post was about 6 weeks ago. I was beyond frustrated with Cooper's biting and aggression towards my 8 year old child.

I had a trainer come in for a 3 hour visit and although she was helpful I really feel that simple maturity has helped things. We also did 6 weeks of puppy classes. Fast forward....

At almost 6 months I love the little guy to pieces. He is still a bit naughty/grumpy with my daughter but in a much more playful way. He is mellow and sweet and so silly sometimes. He gets the zoomies a couple times a day in the yard and it makes me laugh so much. I was sick a couple days ago and he just laid quiet in bed with me all day.

Thanks to those that told me just to wait it out....I LOVE MY COOP-DOG :)

Yep, puppies can sure try our patience. It is why they come so cute :) Glad to hear this good news. You should also post this in the Puppy Group to give hope to others. LOL

Yay!  It really does get better.  Bexter was HORRIBLE about nipping as a puppy.  My older son, who was 11 at the time, was even scared of him.  He would lose control and nothing would seem to help.  Now, he is completely fine.  No nipping or mouthiness at all (unless there is a sock lying around)...I am happy to hear that the little guy is growing up to become a fine doodle and loved family member.  It will continue to improve as time goes by.
