Beautiful poodle-doodle! My older doodle, Lucy, has a wooly coat too, and she could never have legs as long as Charlie's... she'd be a matted mess. We keep her pretty short, with a long tail, muzzle, and a little longer legs. I love Charlie's poodle cut. She's so stately looking!
She was the smallest of the litter... I didn't want her to get too big either, so she is a perfect size for me.
I love that you kept the nod to doodle with the long hair on the legs. But at first glance, she definitely looks like a poodle! Gorgeous regal face. I don't think Kona could ever look like a poodle even if he tried with his long scraggly wispy hair and goofy clown face. So far, he's never had a mat, so I might be lucking out with an easy to brush pup. But he's only 7 months old, so that could change.
We just got back from the vet for our after purchase checkup and Rigby is a healthy 12 lbs at 8 weeks old. He was 8 weeks on Sunday. Hoping this means he'll be a nice big dog.
It's funny, because he looks so little to us at times, and then I think wow he's a big puppy... I do hope he is on the big side though. I've looked on here and I haven't seen any that are up to 12 pounds that have replied. He has another appointment next week for shots so we'll see what he is then. He eats very well, we even changes his food over already because we just got a gallon bag from the breeder and we don't get that brand anywhere. So we put him on Orijen because we wanted a better food for him anyway. He's not picky at all. He's eating at least 1 1/2 cups a day almost 2 cups. He doesn't have a puppy pot belly either. I'm excited to see all the changes that will take place in the next year with him.(His coat, weight, height, temperament, etc.)
