Mickey Finn is 16 weeks 26 pounds........

Okay for my wonderful friends here who know how to predict the weight of our Doodles......what do you think? Mickey Finn is 16 weeks today and weights in at 26 pounds. Thanks for your input.

PS Mickey in the shower....he likes the cold wetness. Anyone else have a Goldlen Doodle who likes this too?

I'd say 55-60 lbs.

The calculation for estimating adult weight is to take the puppy's weight at 16 weeks, multiply by 2 and add 5-10 lbs. So:

26 x 2 = 52 lbs. + 5-10 lbs. = 57-62 lbs. at maturity

This is just an estimation. There are exceptions to the rule!

My girl was 24lbs at 16 weeks,  it was smack in the middle of her growth spurt and my vet thought she was heading for bigness.  This growth chart had me thinking all was nuts  http://www.puppyweights.com/   but she is not quite  forty lbs at eight months now and all seem to agree she's pretty much done growing and will only solidify at this point.   So I agree you may be in the fifty+ lb range - .

I think he'll be around 55 pounds.  Mickey Finn looks exactly like Myla at that age!!!  Myla was 30 pounds at 16 weeks and is now 13 months old and weighs 60 pounds and has since she was 10 months old.  So fun to watch and predict!!!
