Contact Jay, doodle owner of Lola. He lives in the city, and recently talked about some kind of portable/replaceable fresh grass that he gets delivered for his balcony.
We frequently visit Inner Harbor Baltimore, very little grass anywhere. I've found that when Monty really needs to go, he does, whether it be concrete, stones or grass.
There a lots of dogs in Brooklyn and he will figure out a goods spot near a fire hydrant or no parking pole!
I'm sure you will find some grass!! Are you staying with friends or relatives? Ask them . . .or a hotel - they will let you know where to take a walk.We were just in DC and even found some grass there!!
What part of Brooklyn?
What about Prospect Park? They have a dog run and tons of grass.
How long you going to be in Brooklyn? We meed at a dog beach in NJ - yes, probably 1.5 hr drive for you but what a great time you will have. Let me know if you ever want to meet
Prospect Park is great for dogs. If you drive, Shore Road Park is not too far and you get great views of the harbor.
Floyd Bennent Field is an old airport on the end of flatbush ave which has huge spaces to go. Over by Sheepshead bay along the bike path there is some great walks. Over the Bridge to the rockaways Fort Tilden is great. The Brooklyn Bridge park is also a place where a lot of doodlers go as well. So there are plenty of place to take him, just ask around and the "dog people" will let you know.
