I go 14 out of 15, but I've read many articles on the subject.  What really surprised me is that elephants are so smart.

Elephants are so interesting.  They possess qualities and abilities well beyond the means of science to explain.  The Elephant Whisperer by Lawrence Anthony is a great read on a herd of wild elephants and their interaction.
