I am really trying not to overreact over every little thing that happens with my puppy, but even though I am pretending not to be worried, I secretly am.
My 8-month old puppy has been sleeping pretty much all day. She went outside to go potty and briefly played fetch inside wtih me, but otherwise has been asleep all day. And she didnt' eat her breakfast which has me worried. When I realized that she hadn't had anything to drink I bruoght her water bowl to her and she drank some, but even when I bring the food to her she won't eat it. Curiously, if I offer her a treat (cheese or freeze dried turkey) she will eat that.
She went to daycare yesterday and likely played pretty hard, so I don't know if I should just chalk this up to being tired, or if I should spend the next 14 hours googling rare dog disorders and freaking myself out.
What do youguys think? Should I call the vet?

Lethargy and loss of appetite would worry me too, especially in an 8 month old puppy. Personally, I would call the vet. I hope it turns out to be nothing, but I think it's worth a call.
Was this the first time she ever went to daycare?
My guys are usually exhausted after a day at Daycare. They often will sleep a good part of the day after. I had the same question as Karen about whether they've been there before....that's how you can judge whether or not this is unusual behavior for her. Hoping she's just tired and nothing more.
I would watch her.... I know when my Shelby was younger - sometimes a day care day would wipe her out. She also periodically skipped meals when she was younger (not any more - now it is clearly a sign she doesn't feel well). It could just be exhaustion, upset tummy, or something that will pass with time. However - keep an eye on her and don't stress yourself out with an internet search!
If she skips her dinner too... then you might want to call the vet.
Since she is eating the treats, I would think that she is just tuckered out. As the day goes on, she should get peppier. Hope by now she is her usual self!
I hope everything is OK... I would contact the vet, though...
It is difficult to know. I agree with F - keep an eye on her.
If Cooper has a big play she will often be extremely tired for a few days. As long as your pup does eat i wouldnt be too worried, unless its for more than a few days, then id call the vet
How is your pup doing, Genevieve?
