......We moved home recently and I thought I had checked the yard.  However, Harvey and Izzy found a small Yew bush with some English Ivy underneath it in a corner that I could not reach.  They were out in the yard for 20 minutes or so and would not come when called.  So, on with my boots....and off I went hunting.  After a short time I found them.  Munching and crunching!  Both became very ill very quickly.  Poison Control were awesome as was my dear vet Dr. Shechter.  Iv fluids and a short hospital visit and they are back home.  I feel so bad!!  Landscapers have removed all Yew and Ivy from the yard.  I now have a list of the top ten poisons and am being much more vigilant.  Hard lesson though.  :(

Who Yew that was poisonous? Lessons learned. Get well soon

Yew did, that's who!

So glad they're okay now.

Glad they're OK!

How scary and glad they are both ok!

You must have been terrified! I'm so glad the doodles are okay and you have gotten rid of the poisonous culprits. I hope all of you recover completely from this hard lesson. Yikes!

Good mommy for taking care of the poisonous plants and making it a safe home!

So glad the dogs are okay!  So many unexpected dangers out there...good for you for knowing what the problem was and getting on it right away.

I say bad doggies for munching on the only poisonous plants in the yard :p

We have lillies but Luna doesn't eat them.

Whew!  Your quick action saved the day!  I am glad they are recovering.

Thankfully you were there and were able to get them the help they needed so quickly!

Wow, I don't have either of those plants but didn't know that either.  I am off to look up the poisons and post them in a handy spot.  So glad your babies are better.
