That sounds fun--I went to summer camp in Wisconsin myself. :) I would love to go to something like this with Sadie someday.

I've heard about this before.  I'm so glad you posted the link.  I think I'll talk DH into going with me and the doodles.  It will be my 55th birthday and I get to choose my celebration.  :)

Camp would be awesome !

I've read about places like this and I imagine they must be fun.

I registered today!  Woohoo!  We are going to Camp Dogwood in October.

I'm going to seriously consider this, Deb. Very close for us.

You can also register as a "day" visitor instead of spending the night.  I considered this but knew we'd never get up early enough if we came home at night.  But with all of Jack's issues, just spending a day might be a good option.

I haven't looked at the info yet, but I'll consider that as well. Packing up his food & meds in something that will guarantee they stay refrigerated is one of the issues, of course. :)

LOL, just looked at the accomodations. I think we'll probably stick with the lake County dog parks. :)

It is Camp Henry Horner, a JCC youth camp when it is not Camp Dogwood.  It is not luxury accommodations but they do have climate controlled cabins and lodges and there are refrigerators available.

I'm looking forward to the lure course and letting all of my doods have a try at agility and some of the other activities.

That's the thing, I'm not sure how much JD could/would do. And on the rare occasion when I pay for overnight accomodations, I do like a bit of luxury, lol.

I think for your guys, it sounds great.

So just come for a day.  There is a sample schedule from the spring session online.  There are activities for people too so you might find it a fun time.
