I am in need of being distracted and keeping busy.... I have netflix and the ability to download just about any book that is available...
I can't get out and drive on my own right now so I can't get to the library or things like that..... I am bored in between treatments and I was wondering what your favorite dog book or movie was.
I read the Temple Grandin (spelling sorry) Animals make us human and it was interesting. Since I am about all things Jack I would love to watch a good movie and read some books.... Educational books, training books, food books, novels but for the love of God do not recommend Hachi that movie almost put me in respiratory failure I cried so hard.. LOL
Thanks for any ideas.......I tried to look on the internet about raw feeding as I am doing that and I found some groups but apparently since I am doing commercial raw and ground I am "not doing it right so I am not accepted" Seriously.. that is funny.... truly.......

I was thinking of that book just a couple months ago - I remember reading it and crying and crying but I could not remember the title! Thank you - I am going to read it again!!!!
They sell the movie in the Family Christian Bookstore.
I didn't know there was a movie! My grandson who is nine does not like reading books but he loves dogs so I was thinking of buying him this book - Now I think I'll buy the book for him for Christmas and then after he's read it, give him the movie - I wonder if he'll notice that I've read the book first and watched the movie first??? Is that bad???????
Love that movie, it makes me cry too! And Where the Red fern Grows is an excellent book and movie!
If you join Goodreads" on the internet, it will give you suggestions. Just as Sherri suggested, I also loved "A Dog's Purpose" and the sequel.
I bought "Good Boy!" on the bargain rack when my granddaughter was little & it's still one of my favorites...it's a cute story about a boy who wants his own dog, very light hearted & fun :) Fun for all ages. I think you'd like it too :)
THank you!!!! Light hearted is perfect for reading .. I have the attention span of a flea when it comes to reading these days... Thanks.
good news...it's a movie !
Most of those listed here are my favorites too...but here's another book...Around the Next Corner by Elizabeth Wrenn.
It's about a middle aged woman who decides everything she does is for her family (and they don't seem to appreciate it), so she wants to do something that's hers. Out of the blue, and to the total bewilderment of her family, she decides to try and raise a puppy as a guide dog. It's funny, it's sad, it's heartwarming! Loved it!
