Having second thoughts...

On our doodle boy-not on getting one just WHICH one. Especially since I found out this little guy is an F2b. He is going to be a big boy. Very mellow personality. The bottom picture is of a grown doodle from his same parents who had a similar coat as a pup as to this little guy. Top picture is his 6 week and middle picture 8 weeks. One parent is f1b and the other is f1. I think I love him and I think his name should Ledger or Rhymer. Is it bad to change my mind?

I don't see all those pics--just the one of the grown doodle--I think you should follow your heart--just a word of caution--what the sibling from the same parents looks like tells you nothing, since a litter can have many different types of coats--and also, you can not tell that a pup is mellow from one meeting or even what the breeder tells you--they really change as they leave the kennel and come home with you and then keep changing as they grow up--and a lot depends on your training, etc....so just be aware of that...but again, you will forget all about the other pups once you bring your baby home!

Funny thing ..friends brought their 7 mo. Standard poodle over...she's cream with tan ears...one parent was Choc & other was Blk...how does that work? My friend is a doctor...explained somewhere in lineage was a white relative. If this is possible with pure bred poodles...expect ANYTHING from Doodles

I only saw the one picture - the doodle from the same parents?  He is beautiful.  I think the second thoughts you might have are if you think he will be too big for you.  If so, don't take him.  We never know how big our doodles will get, but if you were looking for a smaller one and he is not, it might not work for your family.  The other thing to consider is when you have a second generation doodle you could end up with a dog that is a lot retriever genetically - the f1 could throw all retriever 'parts' rather than poodle.

Thank you for all of your replies! Decision made and puppy home!! BTW I did change my mind and went with the puppy I woke up thinking about! He was meant for us!!
