Hello, we'd like to introduce our new baby girl and us...

Hello, just joined DK and would like to introduce ourselves. My name is Sherri and my husband is Phil, we are a very young retired couple living in Central FL. We just adopted a 10 month old standard Goldendoodle a week ago. She is called Marabelle, aka; Mare Bear, which was her previous nick name. 

She is pretty big already, weighing 60lbs and has very long legs, nose is at counter height. Nice to have her already potty trained and knows most the commands. She already is doing very well getting along with our 4 cats too. So far she is a wonderful dog, and we all already love her to pieces.

I know I'm going to have lots of questions, and somehow came across your site when searching for information on Goldendoodles.

Welcome Sherri, Mare Bear is beautiful!!  We are new to DK also, our baby Bella is now 14 weeks and we are having a blast with her very close to you in Orlando.

Marabelle is beautiful Sherri.  Welcome!  There is only one problem with this site - Once you sit down to read a couple of posts the next thing you know is that the whole day is gone :)  I also adopted our Dunbar as an older puppy (8 months).  He is so loving and cute with the things he does that I find it very difficult to scold him when he is doing something naughty.  Dunbar was not treated very well in his last home and we are still working through some trust issues, but he is coming around more each day.
