Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
BASIC INFO
As of Sunday, September 1st, Doodle Kisses will be accepting photo submissions for our 2014 Doodle Kisses Labradoodle & Goldendoodle* Calendars. A lot of people get confused about where to send photos, etc. So as boring as it is, PLEASE READ EVERY WORD of these instructions. I won't track down everyone who does it wrong to correct things, so if you get it wrong....
We have created a list of photo requirements to help guide you in choosing an appropriate photo(s) of your doodle(s). Please be sure to read these requirements carefully so you choose high quality photos: http://www.doodlekisses.com/page/calendar-photo-requirements -- this will help you avoid wasting time sending photos that will immediately be disqualified.
HOW TO SUBMIT PHOTOS
1) Read the guidelines for photos: http://www.doodlekisses.com/page/calendar-photo-requirements
2) You will be emailing photos for submission. Send ONLY ONE photo PER EMAIL--I know this is tedious, but it helps tremendously in sorting photos if you only send ONE photo per email. So if you have 1 photo you send one email. If you have 5 photos, you send 5 separate emails.
3) You may submit up to 5 photos PER doodle that belongs to you.
4) In your email include the following info:
5) Send photos by email to: DKCalendars@gmail.com
Deadline for Submissions: September 22nd, 2013---please bookmark this discussion or click "Follow" at the bottom of the thread to say up-to-date on any changes which DK Admin reserve the right to make at any time. It will be your responsibility to keep informed on this by reading through the responses to this discussion because these may contain clarification and additional tips. Selection of final calendar photos will be done by DK Admin and is subject to their best judgment
* Because Doodle Kisses was created for labradoodle and goldendoodle owners, our two main calendars will only feature labradoodles and goldendoodles. However, our multi-doodle calendar may accept photos of other common doodles. While we love all dogs, we have to stay true to our site's focus and will not include any dog that may have poodle in its mix. If you have a rescue doodle and are not sure what precise type it is...just take your best guess when listing the type of doodle your dog is.
**As always 25% of all Doodle Kisses profits will go to doodle and dog rescue organizations -- this includes profits from calendar sales.

I am not sure how to check the photo for resolution, pixels and size. Can someone help me ? What is the address to send photos for review by the Photography group?
This is Tuba, a Labradoodle in Scottsdale. Enjoying the good life. My name is Margot Ries
Hi Margot, if you want to submit a photo for the calendar, please read the instructions above on how to submit photos for the calendar; this is not the place. :)
Thanks for being so kind to advise me....will try that. I have never understood how to send photos. I do feel as tho I am computer literate, but maybe not. Thanks again.
Margot, at the top of this page, where the instructions are, #5 shows the email. See photo below:
Do you see that? Just email the photos to that email address. This means you DO NOT submit the photos here on DoodleKisses.com -- you have to do it by email. NOT here on this site. It's the only way I can privately receive hundreds of photos.
Your Tuba is GORGEOUS!
Done! Can't wait to see the finished products! So many amazing pictures! I don't envy you having to make the very difficult choices!
Marilyn, your dogs are adorable, however, you really need to follow the instructions given if you want any chance of the dogs being on the calendar... Adina said it in the original post and just two posts up from you she said it again and clarified it with a BIG RED arrow and circle where to send the submissions to.
I am like you and I am not a direction reader but in this case you have to be if you want to be in it...
Good luck.. submit the photos IF they meet the requirements set fourth in the original email to DKCalendars@gmail.com... ONLY submit ONE picture per EMAIL so if you want to submit three, you have to do THREE SEPARATE emails with ONE PICTURE each in them..
I can tell you right off the bat, your first one is not big enough and it doesn't meet the requirements.. though they are cute.
Good luck getting in.. you dogs are cute.
