Good to Be Back...

I missed my DK family!!  We have had a very busy summer but with school around the corner, things have slowed down a bit.  Dougie is getting bigger by the day--he weighed in at 30 lbs at 4 mos. old--he will be 5 mos. old soon (time is flying by).  He stayed with a pet sitter for a week while we vacationed in Outer Banks, NC and I missed him like crazy but the sitter sent photos and updates daily.  I was afraid that he would not want to come home...he had that much fun :).  We are also gearing up for a move to DE so if you know anyone looking to move to Bucks County, PA, please send them my may for the MLS number for our listing, LOL!!!

Dougie says that he is happy to be back on DK and he is enjoying catching up with all of you--ESPECIALLY THE PHOTO SUBMISSIONS FOR THE CALENDAR.  Love, Love, Love them all.

I'm in love with Dougie, he's such a cutie! How big is he estimated to get?

This Fall has been the busy season around my house because with both kids in school I decided to enroll also. Being out of school for over half of my life has made it a bit challenging but it's going great, so far!

Riley turned 5 months old on the 20th and is weighing in at a whopping 38 pounds. She had her second grooming appointment last week and I don't think they are excited to see her again. My instructions to 'trim around her eyes so that she can see' turned into them shaving her face because she wouldn't stay still =(  
She looks like a senior dog now because her face is grey but she's still black/grey everywhere else. At least she can see again...

Thank you Rhonda.  Congrats on your enrollment!!  I wish that I were as brave as you.  I fear that I now have cobwebs where my brain cells used to reside, LOL.  Wow, 38 lbs...sounds like she is on her way to being a big, beautiful girl.  Dougie is right there with her...He was 30lbs at 4 mos. and I'm sure that he ways more than that now.  I'm sure that Riley is still a cutie, even with shaved eyes.  It will grow back QUICKLY...Dougie already looks a little longer in the face.

Thx for all of the wonderful comments about Dougie.  He most definitely is growing up quickly and is super SMART--a mommy getting a little brag time in...  :)  He typically doesn't sit still long enough for a photo.  I think that he thought that he was SUPER HANDSOME on this day so he let me take a pic, LOL!!

Hi gal - missed you! Dougie is SUCH a handsome man! I just love his color. Cody & Casey just turned 6 months old. Boy - don't they grow up fast!!
