Joey does a good deed for charity

Last Sunday 15h Sept JOEY took part in his first Dogathon for local charity raising funds for the most vulnerable in our community.The weather forecast was terrible, we woke to strong winds and heavy rain. I was waiting for an SMS message to say the event would be postponed but by midday the skies over the bay cleared and the sun came out even though the strong winds stayed feeling gale force on the sea front. Joey did great stepped out the 6 kms you can see his hair style getting tested in the conditions !

About 70 dogs were registered to take part all were issued with a bandanna by the organizing Charity and a goody bag to take home with a toy and some tasty treats sponsored by local pet stores. It was a great day enjoyed by the dogs and their owners and the many people who turned up to watch the dogs of all shapes and sizes en route.
