Our Christmas Card - I think...

Tentatively, this will be our Christmas card for Maltese Rescue California. I will shoot some more but the poor little guy was falling asleep when I shot this and I had trouble getting him to keep his eyes open.

This is Mr. Beau Jangles, whom we rescued from a local shelter yesterday. He is a Maltese whom who we estimate to be between one and two years old. At six ponds, he will certainly find a "furever" home soon.

This is full frame from a Canon 7D camera and I will be able to crop it any way I need...

A neat workflow method that I learned from a seminar is to save the image (without cropping or final sharpening) as a PSD (Photoshop Document) master file. That way I can go back to it as many times as I wish; to crop it the way I want and then to apply the final sharpening according to my output product. I then save the image as a JPEG or as a TIFF depending on the use I will put it to......
