First Full at-Home Groom
I finally did it! I'm so very picky with how my doods are groomed, and I knew with doing it myself I'd have no one to blame by myself if I wasn't happy. I was quite intimidated by the idea of clipper cutting my 2, but after giving Lucy a bath yesterday I just decided it was time. She has a wooly coat, and I didn't take a whole lot off (its only been 3-4 weeks since her last full prof. groom), but I'm so glad I did it then because now I have a lot more confidence for next time. Thank you, everyone! Your comments give me encouragement and confidence in something I've been quite fearful of till now. Next attempt will be Oscar's clipper cut. I just bathed him last week, so it will be a couple weeks before he gets 'the treatment'. His coat is a looser curl than Lucy's, and his cut will be a bit longer. I'm actually looking forward to it now! Thanks again!
