I'm always looking for the " ultimate" toy to keep Enzo occupied. She has every stuffed animal that squaks, squeaks and grunts. She grows tired of the cubes that dispenses kibble when knocked about. What type/kind of toys do you have that stimulate the ole brain? I just ordered a puzzle type thing...hide the treat type thing and make them work for it, by moving puzzle pieces. Always open for suggestions!

Roo and Tigger do like the puzzles.  Their favorite "toy" is kong stuffed with light cream cheese with Charlie Bear treats hidden in it and then frozen solid.  They also like Antlerz and the "S" shaped nylabones with the red bumps, although they are totally uninterested in ordinary nylabones. Roo's very favorite toy is a zygoflex bone, but I need to throw it constantly or hide it to have him interested in it.

We have definitely cornered the market at our house, between Elk Antlers, Nylabones and Himilayian Yak bones. As long as she keeps to HER collection and nothing else, we're good!

Around here the top toy of choice is a ball - she will carry it around, bounce it in her jaws like a wad of gum, but also want to play fetch.   West Paw makes a Bumi that is odd looking Z shape, but she learned how to tug with herself.

Yes to Kong frozen with stuff.  I stopped antlers early on, but she loved them.   Otherwise the old Nylabone hard toys work, all dogs differ on faves though - she adores her rope knots of all sizes.   Squeaky toys went the way of the dinosaur by five or six months - all destroyed.

Lately we have focused on her catching skills - one piece of kibble or bean at a time - focus and fun.

We have a hug basket of stuffed animals. The good news is, she has never destroyed a one Very gentle mouth.

Cally loves the puzzles and balls as well. One of her recent favorites are the stuffing-less toys, her favorite is the goose. They have a great selection on Chewy.com. I also love the Kong. When I leave for work she gets a little upset so I stuff her kong at night with apples, chicken and mashed bananas and freeze it over night and give it to her as I am leaving and surprisingly there is not a mess in her crate when I return. I do it in layers so it lasts a couple of hours. Hope this helps!

It does, thanks!
Sawyer does well with any toy from mydogtoy.com. I don't buy from there, our local pet store carries many of their items. He loves their tuffy toys. He will destroy stuffed toys in a heartbeat but not theirs, they last forever.

Beowoof is very fond of his "Hide A Squirrel" toy. It's a stuffed log with three squeaky squirrels inside it. He has to work to get them all out. :-)

This was Dougie's favorite also.  But I had to take it away after he started shredding his stuffed toys AND EATING THE PIECES.  He will eat almost anything, everyone says that it is the LAB in him...

LOL...this actually looks FUN! Thanks!

Ned and Clancy love to chew on  Nylabones and real bones (the ones you get at the pet store either filled or unfilled).  They also like to drag around floppy (as in de-stuffed) toys and braided lengths of fabric.

Live the braided lengths of fabric idea. It is rare Enz isn't walking around the house without " something" in her mouth.
