Roo and Tigger do like the puzzles. Their favorite "toy" is kong stuffed with light cream cheese with Charlie Bear treats hidden in it and then frozen solid. They also like Antlerz and the "S" shaped nylabones with the red bumps, although they are totally uninterested in ordinary nylabones. Roo's very favorite toy is a zygoflex bone, but I need to throw it constantly or hide it to have him interested in it.
Around here the top toy of choice is a ball - she will carry it around, bounce it in her jaws like a wad of gum, but also want to play fetch. West Paw makes a Bumi that is odd looking Z shape, but she learned how to tug with herself.
Yes to Kong frozen with stuff. I stopped antlers early on, but she loved them. Otherwise the old Nylabone hard toys work, all dogs differ on faves though - she adores her rope knots of all sizes. Squeaky toys went the way of the dinosaur by five or six months - all destroyed.
Lately we have focused on her catching skills - one piece of kibble or bean at a time - focus and fun.
Cally loves the puzzles and balls as well. One of her recent favorites are the stuffing-less toys, her favorite is the goose. They have a great selection on Chewy.com. I also love the Kong. When I leave for work she gets a little upset so I stuff her kong at night with apples, chicken and mashed bananas and freeze it over night and give it to her as I am leaving and surprisingly there is not a mess in her crate when I return. I do it in layers so it lasts a couple of hours. Hope this helps!
Beowoof is very fond of his "Hide A Squirrel" toy. It's a stuffed log with three squeaky squirrels inside it. He has to work to get them all out. :-)

This was Dougie's favorite also. But I had to take it away after he started shredding his stuffed toys AND EATING THE PIECES. He will eat almost anything, everyone says that it is the LAB in him...
Ned and Clancy love to chew on Nylabones and real bones (the ones you get at the pet store either filled or unfilled). They also like to drag around floppy (as in de-stuffed) toys and braided lengths of fabric.
