Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
We always get such a laugh out of this and repeat it all the time. A couple of years ago we were walking the dogs after dinner in San Juan Bautista. A lady drove by in a big SUV, stopped, turned around at the corner and came back. She asked "Is that some kind of poodle?" We identified Groucho (a huge phantom goldendoodle) and she was pleased to meet him. Harpo was with us but dancing around like usual. We love these "some kind of poodle" dogs and I am already planning for our next one. We have had a miniature poodle (black), a standard poodle (brown), a labradoodle (brown), and currently have a goldendoodle (phantom) and an ALD (beige/brown). My next doodle will be either a aussiedoodle or a sheepadoodle). Just as well try them all. Hope it is several years from now, but my feelers are already out there.

Some kind of poodle is just about right! -}
People are so funny about these dogs. Meg has been guessed as Airedale, Terrier and my favorite from one of the carney's in town for the rodeo..."is that one of those Irish Settlers?"
We had someone ask John if Vern was a Great Dane! WTD
Lynda...here's a list of what they call these Poodle mixes. Some are pretty funny!!!
Shar-Poo (Shar-Pei / Poodle mix) That's one I'd like to see!?!
Always room for one more...so blessed you are Lynda to have experienced multiple breeds of doodles...and I'm sure each one has their own special quality...enjoy!
LOL, I am constantly asked if Chance is a poodle :)
I get "Is that a.... what kind of dog is that?" or "Is that a Golden?... but it's so small... is it a puppy?"
Occasionally people ask if she's a Duck Tolling Retriever - she's about the same size and colour but no white markings and her head shape is different.
Most people are shocked to learn Luna is half mini poodle!
