I love how all the doodles just love the snow. F, you have a good groomer, the doodles look wonderful.
Both their haircuts and the pictures are amazing! I love the pictures of the snow covered ball and face!
Yesterday we went out and played in the snow, to celebrate the end of finals. I did a blog post on it yesterday but it hasn't been approved. The snow seemed to create this soft blanket of quiet, and the clouds completely obscuring the sun made the light very even, diffused and somewhat flat. It was gloomy and peaceful at the same time. I do love winter weather, it's so beautiful!
I know what you mean. I see Darwin loves it too. Looking forward to the blog. Enjoy your time off!
Darwin looks so different with his new "haircut"....handsome as ever in any season.
I agree Camilla. Lovely shot. It is frigid here and I've been wanting to ask PG members what they do to protect their cameras….especially going from warm to cold to warm again. In past years I've always tucked my camera into a plastic bag before re-entering the house. I am so paranoid about condensation … not sure this is the right method. What do you do?
I don't do anything... but now I'm paranoid too. :-0
Camilla, I just did a search and was reminded of what you should do….especially when going from extreme cold to warm house. Place camera and lenses into plastic bag and seal, once inside place in coolest place you can find until camera comes back up to room temp. It's also wise to be careful when going from warm house to extreme cold. Best to carry camera in camera bag and let it "cool down" inside the bag slowly. I've never actually done that…but I have sort of "cradled" the camera close to myself for a bit before using it.
Thanks Carol and Anne. I've never had my camera fog up - I wonder if it's because it's so dry here? Regardless I will be more careful from now on.
It's hardly dry here and I have not had fogging. Today I did have a plastic lens obscuring the viewfinder or lens at times : )
