Creative Photo Editing Challenge #1

Hey everyone! So I've been seeing some editing challenges online that look like a ton of fun. I thought we could do it here too!

Here is how it works. I'll post a photo - an unedited photo. Then everyone can do an edit of it with whatever program, or in whatever style they choose. Be creative! Use textures, crops, words added, black and white, combining two photos, something basic, etc. The sky is the limit! 

Here is the photo to edit. I will try to get a better starting point for the next challenge, but I thought this one was neutral, and could go in quite a few directions.

Thanx everyone! This was done with one of the "Crop Shapes" of the Cookie Cutter tool in Photoshop Elements.
Duplicate the background layer. On the duplicate layer, draw out your shape. Add a drop shadow and or a bevel. I lightened my background layer so the cropped part would stand out.
