This totally reminds me of my German/Australian Shepherd. When he was young, I left him with a very good friend for a few days. His ears had been up when I dropped him off. While he was there his ears went all floppy again, and we were concerned. We were joking that he let his ears hang because he was sad that I had left him. Who knows? But a few days later they perked up again and stayed up. Maybe it really WAS because he was sad.
Isn't this syndrome what Jack (of Jennifer and Jack) recently had??
Hope Finn's tail is back to being a curly loop very soon!!
The same thing happened with our doodle Brandy while we were on vacation (she was with us). We did not see the injury happen, but her tail started drooping, just like your Finn. We took her to the vet as soon as we got back from vacation and they diagnosed it as a sprain and after a few weeks, she was back to normal. It is a very strange thing to see. She did not appear to be in pain, but dogs can hide pain very well. Good luck with Finn and hope his tail heals quickly.
Hi, Breezy hurt her tail playing with another dog and was in a great deal of pain and it was uncurled. The vet checked it and it was not broken but she was on pain meds and slowly it curled back up. But, I have noticed that when she is unhappy, insecure, or just not feeling great that lil curly tail goes straight. I read her emotions by the tail. Sure hope Finns tail is curling back up soon. They are so special with their curly tails. Kate and Breezy
