Our current puppy is Enzo

I would strongly suggest gathering your list but waiting till your pup comes home if you are unsure.

My pup is Sweet Georgia Brown aka Georgia.

I really struggled with naming her. I researched it to death and had so many friends with opinions on every name I chose. It was exhausting. I waited till she was home for a couple days. I REALLY wanted to give her a goofy or weird name.

But she has such a feminine, proud personality and she's a real looker so goofy names seemed really wrong. She needed a more regal name. Georgia was in the running. When I ran into a neighbor who asked her name I said Georgia even though I didn't know at that point. And he said "Ahh, Georgia Brown". I knew the tune and when I looked up the words it fit her perfectly.

Groucho Too (looks just like his father who was named Groucho) and Harpo.  I am really thinking about Zeppo for my next pup.  I might have a Chico, but that would have to be a large dog and I think I am more into mid-sized dogs now after two large doodles (105 pounds and 85 pounds).

I had to make a promise to my wife that I would give up cigars if she allowed me to get a goldendoodle, so I wanted a cigar related name. I came up with Cuba. We are thinking of getting a second doodle, girl this time, her name will be Havana.

LOL. Stogie could be in the running! ;)

I like that.

Just a suggestion, but you may give some thought to your hobbies,/ books/ movies, etc. you enjoy. My husband and I are avid car nuts. The joke was always, if he gets a new car, in would get another pet. Then the pet would be named for the car. All our animals have a car name embedded in their names somewhere..
Good luck on your choice...can't wait to hear the final decision.

Our sweet boy is Traz.  He had several names before he came to live with us; Texas Star was his litter name and then he was renamed Taz by one of the trainers.  We didn't want to keep the name Taz when we received him at 4 months because we didn't like the Tazmanian Devil association.  So, we decided to add the "r" in there to keep it similar, but unique :-)

Racey. My hubs insisted it be a name that he wouldn't mind shouting at the boat launch and on the river. He didn't want to be embarrassed with a sissy girl name.

That's funny!

My boy poodle's name was snuffleupagus, Snuffy for short.

Our Girl Goldendoodle's name is Ruepunzel, Rue for short! :)

We like nick names!

Yogi.  Past dogs Hobo and Buddy.

Cats were Micki, Bandit, and Sammie
