Also Etta Says is great.  I got their Rabbit chew in the BarkBox and of course emailed them to make sure. I just got it out and it was from last months box. Here is the email they sent back. I also just emailed them and they replied with in 20 minutes!

Oh No! I JUST bought some of the rabbit treats by Zukes a few days ago. This is terrible news. Guess it's good that our girl loves the orijen freeze dried treats, but they're not cheap. I have been wondering about the barkbox, -v- are they always sourced in North America?

From the comments on Zuke's FB page, it seems a lot of people agree with you. People are really upset. Sad and MAD.

I commented as well. I know that it's irrational - but I truly feel betrayed. It was a favorite, and I truly believed that it was a company run by moral people who cared about quality and health. It's very, very disappointing.

When Natura was sold to P & G, it just about broke my heart. They made the finest pet foods out there after Champion. My go-to brand for so many people and dogs. We tried to be hopeful, but one year later the recalls were weekly. Then Natural Balance was sold to Del Monte. The go-to LID brand for all of us with dogs who have serious immune-mediated diseases. Very tough, I think i got more PMs from frantic owners over that than anything else.

What is scariest is to think that at some point, every good ethical pet food company out there will become successful enough that Big Dog Food will make them an offer they can't refuse. 

And it ticks me off that they have betrayed those of us who made them successful in the first place.

I agree. I guess we can just hope that new, good companies continue to take their place.
