Hi Lucas! Welcome to DK!
Here's another link you might check out -- what to look for in a breeder. Sounds like you've done a lot of research already but since you're at the application stage, you'll want to find a"good" breeder who will help you work through the allergy issues and take the dog back if necessary - not something anyone wants to think about or have happen, but important.

It is, for sure. Finn is an Australian Labradoodle and I was able to visit the breeder through one of her Open Houses. Her dogs were there, of course, and so were many of her guardians with their dogs. Everyone was very knowledgeable and helpful and that made her my choice for a pup.
I do too! Wishing you good luck!
Hey Lukas, have you ever considered an adult doodle? Or at least one that has gone through the coat change? If it is severe allergies it will be more of an issue with a puppy because although you may not be allergic to their puppy coat you could be to their adult coat! Best of luck in finding your doodle and welcome!
Keep in mind that doodles are not all created equal--you might not be allergic to the mom or dad, but the pup is a different story--it is tricky, indeed.
Welcome to DK! Good luck on your search!
