Karen, the outpouring of ppl willing to help on this site is incredible.
I can have a whole posse of DK'ers show up at the airport.
Right now I'm waiting to see if he can get out of there at 3:59CST on a flight to Boston.
And then I will drive there and meet him.
I don't think they are allowing me to have someone else come there to pick him up - because it's in my name, and international, and customs, and security........ect
If he does stay there, another DK member referred this place to me
They said they will go get the dog and take care of him if this next flight is cancelled.
What an unbelievable story! Thank you to all of you who have helped in this process of this poor pup…Larry.. have you contacted the breeder yet?
yea - we've all been in contact.
nothing I can do now - hope hes safe and warm and in his cage.
hope he flies out in a few hours.
will be lots of love waiting for him when he gets home.
not from just us, but everyone here as well.
Larry whatever happens you need to be prepared in case your puppy is terrified by the time you get to it. This weather will put a lot of stress on it and it may be a hard first week!
I just spoke with a friend in Boston..it is 34 and rainy there…but I would think as it gets later in the day...
just spoke to a vet tech at the airport, in their kennel, who is looking at my puppy.
he's with her, safe, doing fine, warm, taking a nap.
crossing my fingers, hoping all is really well - praying to have him soon
Praying here and sending warm California thoughts your way!
Has the flight been cancelled?
not yet - but the way they do it is - hey like to cancel an hour before hand
Where have you been hiding everything that you have gotten? How the heck did you manage this! Cudos!
That certainly eases your mind a little. It's the not knowing what is going on that would drive me insane.
