your new baby boy is adorable! There is so much information here, make sure you join puppy madness. and welcome. :)
My top three suggestions:
1) Sleep now while you can
2) Hide all shoes and clean off all counter tops. Doodles love to surf counter tops.
3) Remember that behind all the mischief, lack of sleep, giant messes and puppy chaos is a sweet loving boy who will be your best friend for many years to come. I know mine are.
Welcome to Doodle Kisses Christina! Enjoy this wondeful site and with the best Doodle owners anywhere! 1. Join our Puppy Madness Group, 2. Join the Food Group, 3.Love that little Doodle and enjoy the Puppyhood Challenge! They the are best dogs ever and so lovable and smart! Congratulations and be sure to share lots of photos when you bring Oakley home.
1) Prepare to fall in love like never before.
2) Get one of those stuffed puppies that help them sleep, I don't know what they are called but others here do and they swear by them.
3) Take a blanket or two with you and rub it all over the litter mates, your puppy is seriously going to miss them and it helps.

Good luck and have fun!
Hi Christina ~ Oakley is such a cutie and I am looking forward to homecoming photos. Just remember puppyhood can be extremely trying at times to say the least, but my only suggestion would be to always treat Oakley kindly and with lots of love as you train him for life and you will be rewarded tenfold! BTW - Welcome to Doodle Kisses.
Oakley is adorable! He will be here before you know it!
1.) Enjoy your new puppy, puppyhood goes quickly!
2.) Have plenty of toys, chews, and things to keep his little mind active as well as his body.
3.) Research and decide on a training method for your little one so you are prepared for classes or one-on-one, etc...
I can't wait to see your doodle updates!
My top four thoughts:
1) Make sure your puppy has received all vaccinations before taking to a pet store. I admit that I was super scared of Sophie catching parvo so I wouldn't even take her on walks in the neighborhood until she received all of her shots.
2) Make sure to 'puppy proof' your home so your puppy doesn't get hurt.
3) Always supervise your puppy with toys. Sophie was quick to destroy stuffed toys and I didn't want her to eat any of the stuffing, etc.
4) Take lots of pictures and videos. They grow so fast and it's fun to look back at the early pictures
