Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
So I know that some of you have recently been in touch with shelters and may start taking photos. That is OH MY HECK AWESOME! I've been doing it for a while now and it's honestly one of the best parts of my week. It's so much fun, and so rewarding. Taking pictures and playing with dogs - it doesn't get better than that! It's also a great way to exercise the skills we learn in the PG group. :-)
I wanted to start a discussion where we could add our photos of the shelter dogs we photograph, whether they are before & afters, cute dogs, or even cute pictures of ugly dogs. LOL j/k. I can't wait to see yours! I think it would be great and may help others who may be on the fence decide to take the plunge. Plus - cute dog photos. :-)
I'll post a batch of before & after shots from today.

That is adorable, I love this idea!
Great idea! Your photos make such a difference!
Love this discussion!
Camilla, These are OH MY HECK, AWESOME! You have inspired me to make that call this week.
Oh, Camilla--I just love you for doing this, and encouraging others to do the same. I've looked at photos of adoptable dogs so many times and thought that if they had a better photo, the dog would have much more of a chance. That's how people decide, in the beginning--from the photo. And you get such marvelous personality shots of the dogs! LOVE!!!
just stunning! what a wonderful gift to these dogs and the shelters
Fabulous pictures, Camilla! As always.
I just dropped off my first pictures to our shelter today. I don't have the "before" shots since none of these animals had any. Even if they did, you can imagine how the pictures looked...pretty much the same as Camilla's "before" pics.
Our local shelter is really close to where I live, but it's in a really industrial part of the city. There is NOTHING around it. No greenery, just rocks, highway and railroad tracks. The pictures are taken in their dog run, but again, all you can see is just chain link fence, trains, containers, cars. Yuck. So I added a bit of a spin. There is a discount for some of the dogs for St. Patrick's, so that's why the green. :-)
Monty's girlfriend came from this shelter so I think I owe it to them. :-)
These are great shots, Jarka!
Fantastic Jarka. You guys rock!
