Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum

So I went to my local very small dog park this morning. I had heard about this dog that looked like Georgia but a bit older that came there. I had never even seen a doodle in general at this place so today when we first met this dog I was in total shock. It's like an older version of Georgia.

She had heard about my dog as well.

We talked a bit and compared notes and even their issues (such as being hand shy with strangers) and other behaviors were amazingly similar. Even watching them at the dog park, if a new dog came to the gate it was like watching synchronized swimmers. It was surreal.

Here are a couple pictures, but the light is really bad and my dog just came back from the groomer and her dog was heading there.

So cute!!!!

Gorgeous Duo and gorgeous color!

Wow....that is pretty amazing. I hope you guys can stay in touch!

Probably not too hard. It's a really small local dog park.

I just wish I could get better pictures. The lighting was so harsh and the brown on brown doesn't help.

This is what a lot of my photos looked like:

I think my photos might be a where's waldo picture.

Beautiful doodles, both.

What fun! I'm so glad they enjoyed one another as well as looked like one another!

Wow...that is unbelievable...the similarities...they are both such a gorgeous color...how sweet!

They are too cute!  It's amazing to me that so many doodles gravitate to other doodles when there's a choice.  Another endearing quality!

Wow it's like a peek into the future! Both are cuties! What a cool thing to find such a similar friend at the dog park!

And what is a doppleganger?  I am thinking from my German experience that it is twin.  My ALD has a big twin also who is here with us now.  Actually they came in three sizes, small (my ALD), medium (goldendoodle) and large (labradoodle).
