I am such a Bad Mommy!!!

Well now I know that I am losing it, I am totally ashamed of myself...today is Oliver's 5th Birthday!!!!...I thought about it all last week, even discussed getting a cake at the new dog bakery that opened here...I have been helping DH with tax season, and I just completely forgot.  I just looked at the newspapeer tonight, and the date caught my eye, I freaked...Well too late now, so we will have to celebrate tomorrow..I feels so bad, I always do something special for him, and we invite his best pal, a Labradoodle that lives down the street.  they got her from Doodle Rescue, and they are still thanking us for sending them to doodle Rescue.  We watch each others dog when we need to be away, and both of us know we can go away and not worry about either dog.  They love Oliver, and we love Remi...BUT I just feel so bad that I forgot his special day...I bet Oliver wouldn't forget my birthday if the situation was reversed....

thanks Karissa, I am sure he doesn't care, lol, as long as he gets his birthday treats...It bothered me that I forgot the day, but I guess we will just celebrate tomorrow. thank you for the nice birthday thoughts...

I realized later that your husband is an accountant. With a sister who works in a Big 4 accounting firm, I know how crazy he is, as well as you are trying to support him right now. A bigger present than any treats is a little time to hang out with the family and undivided attention. April 15th can't come soon enough for you I'm sure!

Bonnie I totally agree with you, lol..and we will celebrate tomorrow...Bonnie are u on the Big Island of Hawaii?  we have been there many times, we love all of Hawaii, but I am partial to the Big Island.  We generally stay in Waiikoloah (sp).  we just love it..We will be going back there next summer..One year away, I can't wait...Thanks for your kind words..Hugs
