Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
Hi!
We just brought our black Golden Labradoodle home. Bijou is a 9 weeks old female and this is our first experience with a puppy. We've been doing a lot of reading here on Doodle Kisses, it's been so helpful and nice to find a active group of people who love this type of dog. We also have two daughters, ages 11 and 6, and they have been obsessed with watching dog training videos.

Nice puppy, and nice picture of him. I see everyone say it's hard to photograph a black dog. Have fun with your new puppy!
Wendy ~ I hope you don't mind that I put Bijou's photo directly in discussion. You can embed the photo when you start your discussion by clicking on the image link at the top of the box and insert your photo from your computer. BTW - Bijou is a doll. I have heard black dogs are difficult to photo, but you did a terrific job! Welcome to Doodle Kisses!
What a doll! Love those black doodles. Welcome to DK!
Welcome to DK!! Bijou is adorable!
Lovely doodle! I have 6 pups here now and 3 are black--so I can agree that they are hard to photograph--she is a real doll! Or is it he?
Welcome! He is very cute!
Bijou is simply adorable! Welcome and enjoy your new family member. Just like children they all have their own personalities and they are forever changing. My Darla is 14 months old and at times I can see her thinking, "I think I will try to be the boss again today". Sometimes she wins!
He is absolutely precious. What a perfect picture.
What a cutie! Congratulations on your new addition!
Lucky you to have such a sweet looking puppy! Simply gorgeous. Good luck with all your training and I am so happy to hear your kids are excited and on board, watching all the training videos. Very important also to have these darlings socialized with other dogs as soon as the vet gives them the health okay. I wish I had kids around to help out when Skadi was little. She was a MAJOR challenge and at times I found myself scratching my head wondering how I was going to survive puppy-hood! But, even tho she was a "monster" puppy, today I am so happy she came to live with us. Their love is amazing!
