Trifexis WITH Frontline?

Our ALD is on Trifexis.  However, she will be spending some time with our family in the midwest and we need to figure out the best tick prevention, since Trifexis only protects for fleas.  Can I give her frontline as well?  Or will that be too much with double flea preventative?  Or is there a Tick collar you'd recommend instead?  I'd love to find an effective tick collar and not have to give her any other meds.  Anyone used Preventic collar?

In all seriousness: Enzo is due at the Vet this Wed. for her Trifexis dose. I will ask the question, as we will need some tick protection as well. Stay tuned......

Will let you know what our Vet says. I won't use any kind of collar and I know our Vet does not recommend them, so it will most likely be something topical.

We use Trifexis with Advantic tick collar. We have never seen either a flea or a tick

Udate:  Took Enzo for her Trifexis dose and 2nd Rattlesnake dose today.  Asked our Vet about what Tick medications would be safe to use with the Trifexis.  She said Frontline was fine, since it works differently than the Trifexis.  One topically, the other internally.

Our vet likes Preventick Tick Collar. We are also on Trifexis. I am concerned about the. Tick epidemic as well. We are planning a New England trip and are considering not going due to Lime Disease? I wonder if I am being too cautious

Charlie also takes Trifexis. In anticipation of visiting an area where ticks are common,  I asked my vet last year, and she agreed Frontline would be a good choice for tick prevention. But then she said the best way would be for me to inspect every inch of Charlie every night.... obviously, she's never dealt with a wiggly doodle who has better things to do than be de-ticked... in the dark.
